Bug fix

Dammit to HELL if there's another bug that I've overlooked in my game! Oh well, a wise game creator once told me to "Fail Faster" and with that I've learned a thing or two.

The Chair glitch has been fixed here. When I set the tilesets, I made chairs an impassable object. And this scene relies on the character moving to certain places on the field.

I've also fixed the jungle quicksand bug that triggers an accidental game over even if you've escaped it.

Due to popular demand, this graphic will replace the 2nd stage of the "Webbed" status in the game. I thought this particular pic didn't look as good as the one I had originally put in the game, but more people seem to like this one better.

Esthe Hunter Update 022715

Whoh, it's been a while hasn't it. I really gotta stop slacking off here.
Anyways I have a new shiny update for you people.
-I've made a few changes here and there.
-New Quicksand mechanic that has gradual sinking and will slow Chie down the longer she stays in it.
-New Beauty treatment: Ribbon Wrap (written by tasakeru828) http://tasakeru828.deviantart.com/
-The stat growth of the monster party members have been tweeked
-A Shower has been added to Chie's hotel room to wash mud for free, but washing the mud off in the mineral bath gives you a stat bonus.
-One of two endings can be unlocked though it is still in beta, the ultimate ending IS acheivable. If you never get a party and face Pecil alone.

Yeesh, each time I try to "finish" this project I get my grimy hands on some new tools, techniques and some new ideas that I want to try keep popping into my head.

Well for what it is worth, the Final WORST ending has been added to the game. Along with some advanced battle graphics. Thanks to Lipicd, and some tallented RPG maker programers out there, I was able to get under the hood of this software and add some eye-pleasing graphics.

-WORST ending added
-Slime and Webbing game over scenes added
-New Battle system added!!!!
     (Status effects such as webbing, mucus, sinking, and constrict have been added)
                         (only constrict and mucus have graphics for swimsuits, mucus has no ribbon bikini graphic yet)
-new weapon added (tazer)

New Battle system test!

A really good friend of mine has taught me some scripts that I can use to make battles in Esthe hunter more appealing. This is still in it's testing phase and will be included in the next update once it is complete.

A Bug fix for you

Tips, look out for more Velvet wings, they give hints and clues some good things in the game.

Hey it's been a while, how'z about an update?

Sitll not done yet! >___<   *bows deeply* I've been screwing with these systems trying to get them to do what I want.


WARNING: DO NOT USE PREVIOUS VERSION SAVE DATA.  Using previous version save data WILL cause the game to function incorrectly. You will have to start a new game.



-Secret Squirel added ( A rat located in the Tsunado woods who will reveal secrets at random for a price)

-Talu Ashiatsu added (Part of the final mission)

-Good ending added (If you can make it to the end with enough money)
-Gag ending added (If you can make it to the end with NOT enough money but fulfill the requirement. Because of testing purposes, that requirement cannot be revealed now)
-Normal ending added (Even if you beat the game, you can still have a nice ending)
-Webbed Game Over scene added (a special game over graphic if Chie is defeated by silkwurms or Gumohs)
-Empress' Slingsuit sprite added( Chie can go outside and play wearing the most revealing outfit avalable in the game, A velvet wing will give you a hint on how to get it.)
-Branching paths added (Grinding not your thing? Well you can bypass one of the quests if you fulfill the requirements (A velvet wing will give you a hint))
-FINAL BOSSFIGHT will only occur if Chie is strong enough. Can you beat the final boss???
-HELL MODE (An extra Meta game where everything is 10x more expensive, including the money it will take to get a normal ending. completeing this mode will earn you a nekkid pic of Chie in the game)


Again, I wish to test the player's ability to be able to find thing and figure things out. I have placed some things in the game to try to take the edge off the difficulty as well as a little of the guesswork involved. Anything which is vital to the game's progression is there. All extra things, you're on your own to find.....


If there are any bugs in the game PLEASE let me know. I've tried my best to make sure that this version won't need a bug fix patch..

UPDATE 9/26/13 (Almost done)

Sorry folks took a hiatus of sorts and now I'm back.

New and shiny things for Esthe Hunter!!

I know I said that the next update will be the last, but this one has everything..accept the silk wrap and tar ashiatsu massage, a bad ending involving Lilly, and the final boss fight.

I'm still working on those but I hope the things I have added so far are satisfactory to you, the players.

You can now play with Kaolin at the secret mudpit once she joins your party. And Kaolin can equip
any of chie's swimsuits and staff weapons.
 

A new menu item at April's Cafe. Mystery meal box. It will randomly
generate one of the menu items.

If you get muddy, take a bath at Lilly's house for free!

Another Update!!

The New Tarpit is up!!! There is nothing to hunt for at the volcano map but you're free to
frolic about in that area....if you can find it.

A "Trading Card" Vending machine is avalable after the 2nd Mudbath. Each card
contains an picture that may be of interest to you.
You can sell the cards if you have too many copies if you want.

Unyo likes leafs
Kaoline likes...boobs???


 

And there's a new file format that doesn't require winrar or zipfile. All you have to do is just double click it and the file Will extract itself where you want it.

Bug fixes AND Updates

-Glitchy swamp map has been fixed
-The Mucus blossom is Tameable
-2 Secrets added (to test the players' ability to find them, I have to keep them a secret)
-Card collecting added (once the first mudbath has been taken)

6/9/13 bug fixes

There were a few bugs that I have overlooked

-The Quicksand in the jungle had a glitch
-The Ribbon Bikini couldn't be changed back into
-Mire maid play was glitched.

All of the following are fixed in this update.

Though you can use your previous save file, I suggest starting from a new game to avoid complications.

06/08/13 update

Okay I've put in some more goodies into the game.

    Ribbon Bikini added,NOW with MORE Chie and LESS clothing!

Mire Maids can now be tamed!

                                                           New Mission, Mucus Blossom. Warning This monster is BOSS level HARD capturing and or defeating it won't be easy.

Two new "bad endings"

 

 

And a few more things.. I suggest starting a new game to prevent the corruption of save file data..

Game Update 5/23/13

Sorry the game is still incomplete but I've fixed more of the bugs seen before and added a few things..

 

 

Now do some monster hunting in a Sexy Bikini. (if you have both the swimsuit and sexy bikini in your inventory)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you have aquired both the Swimsuit and Sexy Bikini you may now take a mudbath in the Sexy Bikini....

Slime Scrub is now available!

 

 

Monster Taming mechanic is introduced. The ability to do so is found in the Jungle but you'll have to find it for yourself. Only two monsters can be tamed now, the Ochre Oozes and the Silk Wurms.

Having a tamed monster will allow you to trigger their "bad ending" scene without getting a game over.

Esthe Hunter Update 5/1/13

Thank you to all who let me know of all of the bugs and glitches in the game. I've tried my best to tighten the game's process as much as I can.

-Monsters in the begining do less damage
-Basic armor equips are available in the begining of the game
-Chie has a little money in the begining of the game
-Various other bugs fixed
-Jungle Map accessable but still under construction I have many things which need tweaking there and it doesn't function properly now.

Losing against Oozes triggers special game over sequence. Caution, some capture failure may result in this scene as long as the conditions are met.

Frolic about in a Swimsuit once conditions are met (those condidtions are secret so don't ask)

 

Muddy look when you re-enter the mud (not sure why)

 

 

 

 

 



I'd suggest starting a new game, save files from previous versions may cause even more glitches.
